The Mike Casey Golf Classic

In 1996, the chamber's annual golf tournament was renamed the Mike Casey Golf Classic in honor of the community's honorary mayor. The golfers tell us it's one of the best tournaments around. We treat the golfers to continental breakfast, lunch on the course and a great dinner served by Porter Valley Country Club. This is the Chamber's largest and most successful fundraiser and provides great sponsorship opportunities for our members.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. with an 11:00 a.m. Shotgun start. By 4:00 p.m. there will be a No Host Cocktail Hour and Silent Auction followed by a 5:00 p.m. start to the Awards Dinner and Raffle Prizes.

You can come for the Golfing or come to the Dinner or for both; the latter only being $45.00. A great meal for a great price and bid on some great auction items and have a chance to win other great prizes!

This year celebrates the and will feature Shamble Format; which means that after each tee shot, all players from the group (usually 4) move their balls to the spot of the best ball. From this point, the hole is played out at stroke play, with each team member playing their own ball into the hole.
