Valley Economic Development Center (VEDC) Entrepreneurial Training Program
This is a dynamic entrepreneurial training program is designed to help young businesses grow, increase profits and achieve a vision for success. Elements include Strategic Planning, Sales Strategy, Marketing, Staffing, Operations, Leadership, and Financial Management. SCORE, the Service Corps of Retired Executives, offers a monthly series of workshops and seminars designed to help new business owners and operators conduct their businesses successfully. staffed by volunteers, all of whom have retired from successful careers as owners or executives in a wide variety of business. score also offers one-on-one counseling for Chamber Members. Government Affairs
Expanding issue research and lobbying activities is one of the Chamber's main strategies for establishing a stronger political voice. By creating more of these efforts, the Chamber provides a forum for business leaders to set governmental and community agendas. The Chamber's governmental affairs committe meets on the  first Tuesday of each month at the Chamber office at noon. While on line, check out our Government Resource Center.
